Cancer is a word that can stop you in your tracks. It has taken loved ones from families across the world, including our beloved Himanshu da. But from that loss rose a promise: to fight back with knowledge, compassion, and action. The Himanshu Roy Foundation (HRF) honours that promise by making early detection accessible, because when cancer is caught early, it becomes far more treatable.

Turning Grief into Hope : Early Detection to Beat Cancer
A Test That Can Change Outcomes
We are proud to introduce the Himanshu Roy Cancer (HrC) Test. A simple blood test developed to identify early signals of cancer, potentially before a tumour forms. The HrC Test is designed for ease and accessibility. It offers:
- Non-invasive screening using a routine blood sample.
- Early-warning detection that gives patients and doctors time to act.
- A scalable approach suitable for a wider reach.
When early detection becomes common practice, lives can be saved. The HrC Test is a step towards that future.
To make this change possible across communities, HRF has partnered with YUVA Unstoppable, a nationally recognized NGO with a strong track record in large-scale public education & health outreach. YUVA Unstoppable is already an unstoppable key changemaker in protecting thousands of young people from cervical cancer and helping build trust in community health programs.
Empowering a Healthier Future: 9,000 Girls Protected Against Cervical Cancer
In a major milestone for preventative healthcare delivery, the YUVA Unstoppable team has successfully administered life-saving Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations to 9,000 adolescent girls across Uttar Pradesh. Focusing on the highly critical 9–14 age group, this massive intervention was executed through a dual-city approach combining premier institutional care with widespread grassroots mobilization.
In Lucknow, they partnered with HDFC Bank and RITES to vaccinate 4,000 girls at the prestigious Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS). Providing vaccinations for 5,000 girls across 193 schools utilizing India’s indigenous CERVAVAC vaccine. This achievement is a testament to the seamless collaboration between our ground teams, institutional partners, and corporate donors, creating a cancer-free future for young girls.
And now, together, HRF and YUVA Unstoppable pledge to deliver 20,000* HrC Tests across Maharashtra.
This campaign will focus on:
- Reaching underserved and rural communities.
- Providing free or subsidized screening for at-risk groups.
- Educating families about early signs of cancer and next steps after a positive screen.
